Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the opposition INDIA bloc and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi during a recent election rally, responding to their accusations of BJP’s alleged intent to destroy the Indian Constitution.

PM Modi vehemently defended the Constitution, likening it to revered scriptures like the Geeta, Ramayana, Mahabharata, Bible, and Quran. He emphasized that even the father of the Constitution, Babasaheb Ambedkar, would not be able to abolish it now. This rebuttal comes after Rahul Gandhi’s earlier remark accusing BJP of wanting to dismantle the Constitution, sparked by BJP MP Anantkumar Hegde’s statement on amending the Constitution.

Addressing the audience in Barmer, PM Modi countered the allegations, stating, “The INDI alliance is telling lies in the name of the Constitution.” He highlighted his government’s initiatives to honor the Constitution, such as celebrating Constitution Day and developing ‘Panchtirthas’ associated with Ambedkar.

PM Modi expressed confidence in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, citing public support for BJP’s governance and criticizing Congress for hindering progress. He asserted that the country was ready to “punish” Congress and expressed optimism about BJP’s electoral prospects.

In addition to defending the Constitution, PM Modi critiqued Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Shakti’ remark, accusing him of attempting to undermine the strength of the Hindu religion. He warned that those who try to diminish the Shakti of Hinduism would face consequences from the people.

PM Modi also mentioned the Ayodhya Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha ceremony, highlighting Congress’s boycott and implying electoral motivations behind their actions.

Overall, PM Modi’s speech showcased a strong defense of the Constitution, criticism of the opposition’s allegations, and a confident outlook for BJP’s performance in the upcoming elections.
